The mixed programme at the English Comedy Night - presented by Humorlabor - features a varied selection of first-rate English-speaking comedians performing comedy in the native language of true stand-up – demonstrating that when it comes to humour, everyone speaks the same language. But no worries, the comedians are all experienced performers on both German and English stages, so laughs are guaranteed for all.

Jack Holmes
Jack Holmes is a British-born comedian based in Central Europe. Known for his high-energy performances, Holmes leaves audiences in fits of laughter wherever he goes. His jokes walk a delicate line between anger and absurdity, whilst tackling self-depreciation and cross-cultural observations to hilarious and heart-warming effect. Holmes has developed a reputation as one of the hardest working comedians in Europe, often performing upwards of 200 shows a year, and has worked in more than 30 countries over 4 continents. He was featured in Austria's first ever televised English stand-up Broadcast, has recorded Comedy specials and live albums and made appearances at major festivals, as well as opening for multiple household name comedians, all of which has cemented his as one of the names to watch for in the European comedy scene. His new touring show, “Round man, square hole” is a laugh-filled journey about finding every group you belong to insufferable. From veganism and his punk band days, to resisting the cliches of being a married man, this sober, record-collecting, British-born, euro-trash comedian jokes and jabs himself apart to the glee of his audiences. An unpretentious and hilarious hour from a lovably gruff comedian who's very worried that being lovably gruff will be the next trend taken over by twats. Stephan Strauch
Stephan Strauch has been a sporadic fixture on the Salzburg comedy scene since 2021. A mechanical engineer by day, he seeks a break from formulas and Excel spreadsheets on stage in the evenings – with varying degrees of success. With cute charm and the scientific method, he tries to decipher the mechanics of comedy and is regularly irritated by the inconsistent results.

Matt Davis 
Comedian Matt Davis releases stand-up and other performance clips from his tours of over 300 cities in more than 70 countries during his nearly 30-year career. Matt has performed at a variety of international comedy and arts festivals.

Host: Alvina
Alvina started her life on stage by singing sad Armenian songs on the guitar. The jokes in between these sad songs were the best part, and so she switched to stand-up comedy.
